David Kirwan

CEO

David has 25 years of international management and consulting experience in media, marketing and entertainment. His experience uniquely combines skills as a builder/manager of traditional, digital and content marketing businesses with decades-long relationships with the US, European and Australasia talent communities.

David’s recent projects include PorHoPorB (HBO Espana) produced in partnership with Manuela Burlo Morena and Globomedia (Mediapro). A big screen sequel to the smash hit tv show Camera Café with Arturo Vall’s Pólvora Films, AtresMedia and Warner Bros set for release in 2022. Advanced in development a Spanish language adaptation of The Office (BBC) in partnership with Alzakari Films for Mexico and LATAM.  The Beautiful Game a soccer themed family drama written by the legendary scriptwriting duo Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais with Antonio Banderas attached to play the lead.  And plans to reprise Las Noticias del Guiñol (Canal +) the classic satirical caricature latex puppet show. 

David is excited to announce the company’s recent expansion into the Irish market under local banner Lovely Hurling. And is actively seeking to develop relationships with Irish writers, creators and co-producers. Lovely Hurling is setting to adapt  St. Mungo’s a sell-out GAA themed stage comedy by acclaimed Northern Irish showrunners Conor Grimes and Alan McKee for tv.

Stuart Sutherland

Executive Producer

Stuart has been producing film and television for over 20 years. Through his UK Celtic Entertainment banner, Stuart is currently co-producing the film Kandahar starring Gerard Butler.  Stuart is also currently handling all the production services in Spain for Alex Kurtzman’s big budget remake of The Man Who Fell From Earth for Showtime.

Other recent credits include UK producer for Scott Free’s The Good Fight, Executive Producer on Top Boy and handling all Production services for Killing Eve and Emerald City in Spain. Celtic has produced many prime time shows such as The Saint the multi award winning Sharpe tv series starring Sean Bean and the Emmy award winning Hornblower tv series.

Stuart is a voting BAFTA member and holds a BA (honours) degree from The European Business School (London) in International Business Administration, and has undertaken extension courses in Film Finance and Producing for Television at UCLA.

gonzalo queipo de liano

Head of Finance

Gonzalo is responsible for managing the company’s finances. He has previously held senior management roles across a range of industries including professional services (Ernst & Young) and Health Insurance (Sanitas). Gonzalo is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
